  1. Who is Simpson Electric? 
    Simpson Electric manufactures analog and digital panel meters and test instruments for industrial, laboratory and environmental applications. Simpson was established in 1934 by Ray Simpson. Ray built the mechanism for the earth inductor compass used during Charles Lindbergh’s solo trans-Atlantic flight in 1927. Simpson was purchased by the Lac du Flambeau Band of the Lake Superior Chippewa Indians in 1985 and is a minority-owned company. Our reliable, high quality products continue to be manufactured in the U.S.A.

  5. Where are products shipped from?

  6. What are your purchase order minimums? 
    $150 for meters/testers/accessories 
    $50 for replacement parts 
    These fees are waived if products are shipped UPS Red, Blue or drop shipped 
  7. Can I get manuals for discontinued products? 
    Yes. There is a $25 fee. You will receive a photocopy of the manual. The manual does not include schematics. Contact customer service for more information. 
  8. I am filling out the warranty card for a tester. Can you please tell me where the serial number is? 
    There is no serial number on our testers. Please leave that question blank. 
  9. Does Simpson comply with the REACH (SVHC) regulation? 
    Simpson Electric has received a few inquiries about Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH)/Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) from our customers. We have started to look into this regulation. Currently Simpson Electric cannot provide data confirming compliance with the concentration levels specified by the REACH (SVHC) regulation. We will continue to familiarize ourselves with this regulation and possibly comply with it in the future.   10. Does Simpson have information on the conflict minerals status of their products with regards to Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act?
